This Maple burl bowl set is all from the same piece of wood. Picture to the right.

This is the outside of the tree. The "live" edge of the Birdseye Maple tree.

This piece would be the inside of the Birds Eye Maple burl.

This is the part of the burl that was starting to decay. This Birds Eye Maple bowl came from the middle of the burl closer to bark. The base of this one is the same plane as the base of the bowl to the left.

Spalted Maple Candle Holder

This Birds Eye Maple piece came from the core of the "middle" picture. It was the “cut-out” from the center of that bowl that was starting to decay. It is a candle holder for decoration only.

This is a one of a kind shot glass. This piece was ecpecially challenging as I have tried numerous times in the past to duplicate. Get it while it lasts it is the only one. There is a simmilar one in birdseye follow the "Button" link to see it.
